Wasatch Software earns VMware's Academic Specialization

VMware has announced that Wasatch Software has achieved the VMware Academic Specialization! This new status allows Wasatch Software to bring its expertise to more academic programs with special pricing and many new ways to serve the academic market. According to VMware, the academic market is one of the fastest-growing global markets for server consolidation, desktop virtualization, and cloud computing.

Wasatch Software currently provides software, hardware, and I.T. services to over 500 public and private schools around the nation. This award from VMware places Wasatch Software as one of only a handful of resellers in the nation to receive this status and allows for a higher satisfaction to all current and future academic clients.

Further, effective August 16, 2011, academic clients must come to resellers with VMware’s Academic Specialization in order to receive access to Academic SKUs and pricing.
